01 · Screen: the quote builder
Build a quote in minutes: client details, line items, a discount if you want one, and a live preview of the branded document as you type. It goes out VAT-correct with your logo and details on it, and the client accepts it online: no Word template, no PDF by hand, no printing.
Why it matters: a quote that goes out the same day, looking professional, gets accepted before the client goes cold.
02 · Screen: the project money view
The moment they accept, the deposit invoice is ready; or, once auto-deposit is set up in Settings, it raises itself. When the work is done, you raise the final invoice from the job: the accepted total, less what has been paid. Every document is branded and VAT-itemised, and when you mark a payment received, the receipt is issued and emailed to the client. Each project's money view shows exactly what's been invoiced, paid and outstanding.
Why it matters: your books stay straight without a bookkeeping afternoon at the end of the month.
03 · Screen: the job board
Every project sits on one Kanban board, moving through seven fixed stages: to be confirmed, confirmed, in progress, QC, revise, approval, completed. Each card shows the reference and the address; one click opens the client and the fee. The state of the practice is one glance, not one meeting.
Why it matters: you know what's in progress and what's stuck without asking anyone.
04 · Screen: team access
Directors see the money; technicians see only the work assigned to them. Roles are enforced server-side (not just hidden in the interface), so client data stays scoped to the people who should see it.
Why it matters: you can bring on technicians and subcontractors without handing them your P&L.
05 · Screen: reminders
Today every invoice carries your bank details, a payment is marked received in one click, and the receipt is issued for you. Once an invoice has gone a week unpaid, it appears on your dashboard with a reminder you send in one click; no reminder is emailed to a client until someone presses Send. Coming soon: clients pay by card straight from the invoice and the payment reconciles itself against it; we'll publish how it works and what it costs before it switches on.
Why it matters: you can see who owes you at a glance, and every chase is still your decision.
06 · Screen: financials
Live financials without an export: recognised revenue, expenses, net profit, VAT, what's outstanding, what's quoted, and your conversion rate, by month, year to date, or all time.
Why it matters: pricing, hiring and chasing decisions get made on live numbers, not last quarter's spreadsheet.
